Boxing News: Conor McGregor Says He Can Beat Floyd Mayweather When Fight Takes Place [VIDEO]

The Conor McGregor Show came at the Madison Square Garden this Friday in New York and the boxer's presence on the show was massively felt around. McGregor didn't shy away from the media spoke to the press about the fight with Floyd Mayweather, he is confident he will beat Mayweather.

McGregor, the current UFC lightweight champion was present on the show to support fellow Irishman Michael Conlan, a boxer who just made his professional debut and required a much needed support from the champion.

But, McGregor was more hinged towards issuing a warning for Floyd Mayweather who is expected to be his next opponent if both the superstars come to a similar agreement required to get the fight done. McGregor shouted while speaking to media saying he is the boxing guy, no one in this boxing world knows what is coming from him. When he gets in the ring, there is no one to stop him.

McGregor didn't even blipped his eyes during his rant at his opponents espcecially Mayweather, he makes a bold a prediction about the result of his fight against the boxing king. He proclaims he will stop Mayweather, he repeatedly said everyone in this world will eat their words and he is getting very close to beating the king of boxing.

The UFC sensation didn't wait much longer after exerting his statement, he later spoke about the possible timeline at which he fight Mayweather. He thinks September will be perfect time to fight, he is also trying to talk Floyd about this date. Ironically, the last time McGregor went to Las Vegas to have talks with Mayweather, the boxing retired. Although, to fight McGregor the boxing king Mayweather would step down from retirement.

There are sources close to both the sides and it is rumored that 16th September might the date when McGregor and Mayweather will lock horns in the same arena, battling for supremacy.
