The Nintendo Switch is the hottest selling console right now. Major retailers are constantly out of stock with the hybrid console. And with more games coming in the next few months, retailers are sure to have their supplies run out. One of the next games coming for the Nintendo Switch is an unannounced Pokemon game.

The Nintendo Switch's unique feature is that enables gamers to take their console gaming anywhere by removing the tablet console from its dock. It makes the Switch a console that can be played on a couch and TV setup and a portable, on-the-go console similar to the Nintendo 3DS. It's widely assumed that Nintendo is merging their 2 divisions of gaming studios under one banner as the portable segment is doing significantly better than the console division in the last generation. The Nintendo Switch will combine both divisions, and will reach to markets in one console. When it comes to portable gaming, one of the most successful series under the Nintendo banner is Pokemon.

Pokemon usually releases new games on a yearly basis and there haven't been any announcements regarding the next game. But according to a report from Kotaku, a new job listing can be a sign for a new Pokemon game that may be coming to the Nintendo Switch. The job ad was posted by Pokemon developer Game Freak in which the company is looking for a character modeler for a new title.

The developer is looking for someone who has experience using Maya and making characters for Wii U and PS Vita games. The job description includes making "exaggerated toon style people, monsters, and item models. The ad did not specify the game in development but did say it was a consumer game eliminating the notion that it is a smartphone title.

Moreover, Game Freak is also hiring a 3D CG designer with a description saying "Your chance to get involved with developing an RPG that's popular worldwide." This all leads to Pokemon as the most likely game to be developed. The new Pokemon game could be the long-rumored Pokemon Stars which is an updated version of the Pokemon Sun/Moon series as reported by Amazon.
