Tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET, the New York Rangers (10-11-0, 20 points) and Dallas Stars (11-7-2, 24 points) go head-to-head live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas in the first of two meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. New York fans can hear all of the hard-hitting action by tuning their radios to 98.7 ESPN Radio while Dallas fans can do the same on KTCK 1310 The Ticket.

The Dallas offense comes in firing on all cylinders but goes up against a New York team that has struggled offensively, yet thrived defensively as the team has given up just three goals in the past three games.

The Stars potent offense was held to just two tallies but still managed to win 2-1 against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday, and the team added Dustin Jeffrey after claiming him off waivers, and he skated for the first time with his new team on Monday after spending parts of six seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

"He's a good skater. You can never have enough depth," coach Lindy Ruff told NHL.com. "We know what he can bring. Our scouts feel he can be a good addition to our team. We're fortunate now, knock on wood, that we haven't run into too much in the injury department."

Rick Nash returned to the Rangers lineup for the first time in 17 games as he worked his way back from a concussion, but the team still couldn't find its offense as it fell to the Boston Bruins 2-1 at Madison Square Garden.

"The first period, the first couple of shifts, that was tough. But I felt I created some chances and some offense," Nash said per NHL.com. "Just a couple of little things are going to take a couple of games to get back."

The Rangers leading scorer has been Brad Richards, who has six goals and 10 assists for 16 points while Derek Stepan has four tallies and10 helpers for 14 points and Ryan McDonagh (four goals, seven assists) and Chris Kreider (two goals, nine assists) each have 11 points.

Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn have each led the way for the Stars with 23 points. Seguin has six goals and eight points in his last four games for a total of 12 goals and 11 assists while Benn has three goals and 10 points in his last six games for a total of seven tallies and 16 helpers.

Between the pipes, Kari Lehtonen is 10-3-2 with a 2.01 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage for Dallas while Henrik Lundqvist has backstopped the Rangers to a 6-9-0 record with a 2.38 GAA and a .918 save percentage.

The Rangers will try to get their offense going while the Stars look to get their high-powered offense past the stingy defense of the Rangers when these teams hit the ice at the American Airlines Center tonight in Dallas.
