There are a lot of rumors surrounding Apple's plans to launch a new version of MacBook Pro this year. However, no official announcements have been made yet.

The wait for the next MacBook Pro has been long. Cupertino tech-giant Apple last introduced a new Mac Pro model back in June, 2013. Ever since that year, fans have been waiting to hear more about the arrival of a new one. Now, a new report published by Mac World suggests that Apple maybe working on a new model that they will launch this year. The possibilities of this happening is higher too especially because the company finishes 10 years with its iPhone flagship and would naturally want to make this occasion special.

Another report published by BGR talks about how CEO of Apple, Tim Cook while addressing professionals at Apple's annual shareholder meeting, was heard saying that the company remains committed to the Pro market and that the company doesn't plan on discarding their product-niche any time soon. He expressed the importance that the Pro market holds for Apple and further stated that users can expect a great deal coming from that side soon.

Apple's MacBook Pro experienced a backlash in the recent past especially with it's battery-lagging issue. They even added a new TouchBar feature, which received mixed reviews from the consumers, developers and the creative professionals.

Nonetheless, the year 2017 remains to be one of the bigger years for the Apple's hardware launch plans. Not only can consumers expect the newly updated MacBook Pro but alongside the same, a newly-upgraded iPhone 8 device is also underway. Apart from that, the Cupertino tech-giant also plans on integrating new features in its upcoming Apple Watch Series 2. It's probably best to wait around for more official updates. Price of the device are still not confirmed.
