Apple patrons are eagerly waiting for the next edition of the iPhone i.e. iPhone 8. Since this year it is the tenth anniversary of the Apple iPhone, a revolutionary device with killer features is expected from Apple.

The speculated features of iPhone 8 have been leaked many times; however, the new reports are suggesting that upcoming iPhone 8 will have a new 3D camera. The new camera coming in the iPhone 8 will allow 3D facial recognition and will support augmented reality applications. The Apple iPhone 8's 3D could reinvent the user experience, according to BGR .

According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple iPhone 8 will feature an infrared sensor that will be able to sense 3D space in front of it. This combination of front camera and 3D sensor will allow iPhone users to have a 3D selfie and create digital avatars of them for an ultimate augmented reality experience.

This rumored augmented reality feature in Apple iPhone 8 will let it compete with Google's project Tango that aims to bring augmented reality feature in the smartphones. Lenovo Phab2 Pro is the only device right now available with Google Tango, as noted by Slash Gear .

Apple is also expected to include wireless charging in the upcoming iPhone for the first time, suggesting that the technical difficulties that the company was experiencing have indeed been resolved. Reports had indicated that the ambitious wireless charging system that Apple had earmarked for the iPhone 8 was causing technical problems, however the new reports are suggesting that they may have been solved and wireless charging will indeed feature, as reported by Value Walk.

The upcoming iPhone 8 is also rumored to come with an OLED screen, if this proves to be true then it will be the first time when Apple is moving away from LCD screens. The iPhone 8 is expected to feature a large 5.8-inch display with OLED technology and a bezel-less design. The upcoming iPhone 8 is expected to have a price tag of around $1000.
