There was a time when Georges St. Pierre fought the best the UFC had to offer. But according to Luke Rockhold, that may not be the case when he returns and wins the Middleweight title against Bisping.

Georges St. Pierre will make his much-awaited to the UFC return after 3 years in retirement against Micheal Bisping for the Middleweight title. The greatest welterweight of all time will go for a second title in a second weight class. The immediate title shot for a retired fighter even if it was GSP draw the ire of several MMA personalities including Yoel Romero who many assumed should be next in line for the title shot.

Luke Rockhold, the former Middleweight Champion whom Michael Bisping beat to win the title has his own opinion regarding Georges St. Pierre's return to the octagon. Like all top middleweight contenders, Rockhold didn't like the UFC decision of pitting GSP against Bisping as it will only delay the title shot opportunity for Rockhold as he voiced his displeasure at Submission Radio.

Rockhold understands the business aspect of how the match with Georges St. Pierre was made but says that there are other worthy fights in the Middleweight division that can bring in huge number. He gave fights against Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva as prime examples of big money fights that won't hold up the division.

The Middleweight contender also adds that Georges St. Pierre will not fight the top fighters in the division once he wins the belt against Bisping. Meanwhile, because of GSP delaying the title aspirations for Rockhold, he is willing to wait his time to get his shot according to Bloody Elbow. Rockhold is expected to make his return in July which marks a 13-month gap since last fight against Bisping where he lost the title in an upset.
