Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, Galaxy Book Among the Korean Firm’s Upcoming Tablets

For years, Korean tech manufacturer Samsung has always been prolific, churning out one tech product after the other within a short stretch of time. While it continues to be on top of the situation, it has firmed up its direction to only come up with quality-endowed products.

During this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, the Seoul-based organization has sustained its competitive ways. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and the Galaxy Book spearhead a list of the company's promising devices.

Considering Apple's dominance in the technological industry, it is not surprising that the Tab S3 has been made to compete against the iPad Pro 9.7. With regards to keyboard availability, pen support, audio and size, both tablets are quite identical.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is actually an upgrade over its predecessor which is the Tab S2. Its super AMOLED display is now capable of backing HDR video platforms.

The Tab S3, which has a 4GB RAM plus a 32GB memory space, is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor. Storage can be expanded up to 256GB through a microSD card.

Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has four speakers, its width remains at a manageable 6mm measurement. It is run by Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Galaxy Book is Samsung's hybrid product that is more likely to compete against Microsoft's Surface Book unit. This lightweight device can be transitioned from a tablet into a notebook and vice versa.

On the other hand, both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and the Samsung Book have some common specifications. The units are capable of supporting video sequences with High Dynamic Range (HDR) backgrounds.

Both devices have 5MP front cameras. Their rear lenses offer a 13MP photo tracking capability.

The tablets also accommodate expandable memory space of up to 256GB. Fast-charging capacity is a common denominator for both. With a 6,000mAh battery in place, the 9.7-inch Tab S3 and the 12-inch Galaxy Book are projected to sustain video processing of up to 12 and 10.5 hours of activity, respectively.
