PATRIOTS vs PANTHERS Watch Live Stream FREE Online & Listen: Monday Night Football Week 11 Live Coverage from Carolina

Tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET the New England Patriots (7-2) will attempt to cool off the red-hot Carolina Panthers (6-3) on their home field on ESPN for the Week 11 edition of Monday Night Football, which can be live streamed free here. Patriots fans can listen to the game on 98.5 The Sports Hub, while Panthers fans can hear the action on WBT 1110 AM.

The Patriots are historically dominant under head coach Bill Belichick coming off by weeks, but Carolina's beastly defense may be preparation proof. "They're one of the best defenses in the league," quarterback Tom Brady said. "We have to play really well. I think our execution has to be at its best."

On the flipside, the Panthers' vaunted defense is showing the utmost respect to the threat posed by the Pats' future Hall of Famer under center.

"Tom Brady is a very cerebral guy, he's been around a while, he knows where he's going with the ball, he's smart, he understands defenses," linebacker Luke Kuechly said. "So we've just got to do a good job of playing our job, doing our responsibilities and make sure we're in the right spot."

Aside from the upgraded defense, the major difference for Carolina this year has been the increased maturity of quarterback Cam Newton. He has cut down on his mistakes this year, and that hasn't gone unnoticed by Belichick.

"He's playing very efficiently. He does a good job," Belichick said. "He's obviously a threat with the ball in his hands to run. He can make all the throws. He can put the ball on the sideline." He also said playing the mobile quarterbacks in the AFC East have the defense somewhat prepared for Newton's skill set.

"I think that a lot of the plays that Carolina runs we've seen from Buffalo and the Jets," Belichick said. "The fact that we have seen some of those plays, we've worked on the basic blocking schemes and how to fit on them, where everybody needs to be."
