Another team's loss is another team's gain. In the world of sports, that's what usually happens. Players come and go. Some players are gone for good. While others are lucky enough to be still be able to continue their career. The NFL is no stranger to those kind of things. Veteran running back Jamaal Charles is one of those lucky ones. Jamaal Charles may have no team right now but he may soon find a new home with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jamaal Charles may be headed to the Philadelphia Eagles as the Eagles are interested in signing up the free agent running back, according to a report from Bleacher Report. Philadelphia Eagles' Head Coach Doug Pederson confirmed to reporters on Wednesday that they are indeed pursuing Jamaal Charles, owing to their history together with Kansas City Chiefs.

Jamaal Charles and Doug Pederson were together with the Kansas City Chiefs for three years. Doug Pederson was the Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator at that time. If ever Jamaal Charles do sign up with the Philadelphia Eagles, he would have no problem adjusting to the Eagles offensive system, owing to his familiarity with Doug Pederson.

The Kansas City Chiefs just recently released Jamaal Charles, via a report from CBS Sports. Jamaal Charles spent nine seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. Immediately after news of his release came out, the Philadelphia Eagles quickly made a move to contact Jamaal Charles.

Jamaal Charles, 30, was a third round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2008 NFL Draft. In nine seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, Jamaal Charles had a tremendous career and is often considered one of the greatest running backs in the franchise's history. That's why it's no surprise that the Philadelphia Eagles have shown interest in Jamaal Charles.

Injuries however, may have taken its toll on Jamaal Charles. Jamaal Charles tore his ACL in 2015. After playing only five games during the 2016 season, Jamaal Charles dealt with swelling on the same knee all throughout the season. As a result, Jamaal Charles was placed on the injured reserve list on both seasons. But once healthy, Jamaal Charles would certainly be a force to be reckon with and would be a major addition to the Philadelphia Eagles offense.
