John Cena's rapid return to WWE television three months prior to his expected recovery time hasn't come without its problems. Cena is reportedly banged up from pushing himself back too quickly after his surgery over the summer, and despite the fact that the WWE Superstar is ailing, he will continue to push himself and appear on Monday Night RAW as well as compete at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view this Sunday.

Cena was expected to return at January's Royal Rumble pay-per-view after he underwent surgery to repair a torn triceps and distended elbow following the SummerSlam event in August, but he rehabbed rigorously and returned to the squared circle at the WWE's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on Oct. 27, where he won the World Heavyweight Championship from Alberto Del Rio.

Now, heading into his rematch against Del Rio this Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Survivor Series spectacle, Cena is ailing. According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Cena is banged up due to pushing himself hard to return and then pushing his body even further by working a busy schedule that has included appearances on both RAW and SmackDown, as well as the WWE's recently wrapped up European tour.

The report indicates that even if Cena lightens his schedule, no matter what he does he's going to be hurting because of how hard he pushed himself to come back. His arm injury has been a concern, but at a show in Leeds during the WWE's tour overseas, it appeared as though Cena hurt his ankle during a clash with Del Rio. Reports from the show indicated that Cena fell to the ground after whipping Del Rio into the buckle, and that he was down on the mat checking his ankle as a referee held up the "X" symbol to signal an injury.

Cena was able to finish the match and walk off on his own power and Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the ankle injury is a non-issue while the recovery from his arm injury has left him "hurting," after he rushed back too quickly.

During the WWE's tour overseas, Cena announced during a show in London that he believed the WWE should bring its landmark WrestleMania 31 event to London next spring. Friday night at the WWE's live event in London, Cena made the announcement and said that it should take place in a nearby "big ass" stadium--most likely a reference to Wembley Stadium which hosted SummerSlam 1992. Cena also referenced male adult fans that boo him and want him to turn heel.

"Sounds like there's a lot experienced members of the WWE Universe in the crowd tonight," Cena said via Wrestlingheadlines.com. "Sounds by the tone, there's a lot of grown men in the crowd here in London tonight. I got a feeling these are the same grown men that bring their girlfriends, their wives and their families all the way across the pond and make just a loud noise at our WrestleMania events."

Cena added: "This is the night that John Cena is going to come back to London, see a bunch of super-excited fans, all the way up to the sky! And tell them that they were so loud tonight I could've sworn on my heart that every single one of you had been to WrestleMania because this is the noise I hear in that building and for that I thank you."

While Cena is hurting, he'll still be there to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Del Rio from his home state of Massachusetts in Boston this Sunday at the TD Garden.
