The world's former number one golfer has taken sometime out for a breather. While playing with President Donald Trump and current golf leader Dustin Johnson on the side may have been his recent highlight, going to lunch with Tiger Woods is probably the more interesting story line here.

Rory McIlroy is making the most of his time resting due to a rib injury. Aside from his return to the upcoming PG Tour, he also thinks that the 14-time major champion will also be there, too.

According to him, the days before the tournament will most likely determine Tiger Woods's participation. McIlroy adds that the former golf prodigy is in jovial mood.

A couple of back surgeries have sidelined Tiger Woods since 2015. His official comeback has been drastically cut short when he failed to qualify at the Farmers Insurance Open in January this year.

Although he has managed to fire a 77 during the opening round of the Dubai Desert Classic, back spasms have set in pushing Tiger Woods to pullout of the event. The same occurrence has also happened during his participation at the Genesis Open and the Honda Classic.

Although the biggest question is Tiger Woods' return to the Tour, Rory McIlroy remains upbeat that he will be seeing his friend on the field sometime soon. He shares that Tiger has a lot of things going for him outside of golf.

Although Tiger Woods has been hit by a number of serious injuries, his mental outlook is looking good. To this, Rory McIlroy thinks that the difficulty of coping up with body issues takes time. Seeing his professional rival working hard to get back up can be tough but it is the right approach to do.

While McIlroy has only positive vibes for Woods, another golf player thinks otherwise. The World's Number 67 golfer Pat Perez believes that Tiger Woods is only playing for his organization.

According to Perez, Tiger Woods' multiple withdrawals at recent events indicate that the former number one golfer does not have what it takes to beat anyone anymore. He further stresses that all Tiger cared about is to keep his name on the headlines in order to spearhead his present interests.
