Chelsea are the frontrunners to win the English Premier League title this season. However, manager Antonio Conte wants to add more players for the club's Champions League run next season. Here are the latest Chelsea transfer targets for this summer.

Romelu Lukaku, ST - Everton

According to The Sun, Lukaku has put his name on the list of Chelsea transfer targets this summer by being open to a return to his former club. He is playing great since arriving at Everton in 2013 but he's seen as a possible replacement for Diego Costa, who is eyeing a move to China.

Lukaku scoring 78 goals in 153 appearances for Everton is a reason why he is one of the Chelsea transfer targets by Conte. He also has expressed interest in playing Champions League football and his former club can give him that.

Leonardo Bonucci, CB - Juventus

Bonucci is one of the Chelsea transfer targets because he played under Conte from 2011 to 2014. He is also fresh from a heated confrontation with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri earlier this month. He was dropped from Juventus' starting lineup during the club's Champions League tie against Porto.

Owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly willing to pay a world-record for one of the Chelsea transfer targets this summer, per The Metro. Bonucci is already 29 years old but he still considered by many as one of the best defenders in the world.

Craig Gordon, GK - Celtic

Another one of the Chelsea transfer targets this summer is Celtic's 34-year-old keeper. Gordon is a veteran keeper who could be a very capable backup in Stamford Bridge. His contract extension for the Celtic stalled and it's possible that the Blues will make another offer.

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea is going to make a third bid for Gordon this summer. The Scottish star played five seasons in the English Premier League with Sunderland. He will battle Asmir Begovic for the club's backup keeper job if he gets signed this summer.

Monaco stars

In a different report by the Evening Standard, Djibril Sidibe, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Bernardo Silva are the newest addition to the Chelsea transfer targets. Conte and Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo were present during Monaco's match against Manchester City this week.
