Emma Watson's new modern take on as a Disney princess is the live-action remake which will have a feminist twist. Emma Watson reveals that her character of Belle in "The Beauty and the Beast" is a feminist princess.

According to Digital Spy, Emma Watson, 26-years old, explained that she wanted to create a new story for Belle's life before she meets the Beast. The role of the Beast is played by Downtown Abbey's Dan Stevens. His character is impressive in the movie especially when he saves Belle as shown in the trailer.

Last week, Disney released promotional pictures of Emma Watson doing live action after turning as Belle in "The Beauty and the Beast". "In original when one see's the character of Belle, it's hard to sense much how Belle actually is in real," she said.

That's why she wants to create a backstory before Belle meets the Beast. In the original animated story of "The Beauty and the Beast", Belle is the daughter of an inventor and spends her days reading books and doing house activities. Thus, Emma Watson wants to change this age-old story into something new and interesting.

According to Heat, Emma Watson's vision, Belle's character ends up falling in love with the Beast and saves him from the curse by kissing and marrying him. Belle maximizes her time learning to make her home appliances work better. So the backstory is now twisted to making Belle an inventor who invents the washing machine to do laundry so that she can use that time sitting and reading.

The idea of Emma Watson can bring a change to the age-old image of Belle. "The Beauty and the Beast" will be in cinemas from March 17, 2017. The fans of Emma Watson are eagerly waiting for the movie to release.
