Addictive turn-based strategy game "Civilization VI" will have an upcoming update that will bring in a new set of changes. Among those included in the update will be multiplayer capabilities and a new playable country with Australia.

One of the most requested features among fans is modding tools and multiplayer modes. "Civilization VI" Australian Summer 2017 Update will bring these features and more according to Civilization's website.

With Steam Workshop, players will now be able to express their creativity and adjust various settings in "Civilization VI" to make the game their own. With the new update, players can also browse, add and subscribe to mods more easily if they choose not to mod the game.

Multiplayer modes have been a staple with modern games and "Civilization VI" is no different. The Australian Summer Update will add a new multiplayer mode that will let players team up with their friends and conquer the world together and battle either AI or human components. With E-sports on the rise and everybody joining the ride, expect "Civilization VI" to make a move with this new update.

Meanwhile, there will also be some balance changes and bug fixes included in the new update for "Civilization VI." The changes will affect trade routes, ice caps, obsolete units and AI upgrades. More details will be coming soon as the launch date nears.

Lastly, a premium DLC pack will feature Australia and Prime Minister John Curtin as a new playable country. As with all other countries in "Civilization VI," Australia will have its own unique units and perks.

John Curtin was the 14th Prime Minister of Australia and will lead his country in "Civilization VI." He was in office during World War II and was responsible for unifying the many states of Australia and its subsequent reconstruction after the war.

Australia's unique unit is the Digger which was soldiers that served the Commonwealth with honor and distinction in the two World Wars. Outback Stations are Australia's unique tile improvement.
