During its first week in the big screen, the erotic film "Fifty Shades Darker" made waves in the box-office despite receiving more negative reviews than its prequel. Stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are enjoying the attention they are receiving. However, the upcoming sequel 'Fifty Shades Freed' could be the last dark sexy film Jamie Dornan will ever do.
Jamie Dornan joked about not wanting to have any more films that require "to tie women to beds." His recent movies were all sexually inclined, like the "Fifty Shades Darker" series and "The Fall" in which he portrayed the role of a sex-obsessed serial killer. His upcoming movie "Fifty Shades Freed" is most likely the last daring role for the 34-year old Irish actor.
However, he admits that with the "Fifty Shades" movie series, he was able to explore the darker side of sex. It seems that enough is enough and he wanted to have lighter roles for his future film inclusions, as Digital Spy reported. His next role will be for the film "Robin Hood" as the dashing Merry Man Will Scarlet alongside Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx - a film that is extremely different from his upcoming "Fifty Shades Freed."
As for the "Fifty Shades Darker," the movie featured Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) trying to win Anastacia Steele (Dakota Johnson) back into his life. It showed how the lead characters attempt to have a normal relationship outside the bondage and darker side of sex. To the fans' surprise, the end credits gave a peek on the upcoming sequel of "Fifty Shades Freed," Independent reported.
"Fifty Shades Darker" end credits showed Anastacia Steele wearing a wedding dress. There is an unknown man in the scene presumably Christian Grey. The fans drew these conclusions since it could be heard that Christian was reciting wedding vows while they were on a private jet and at the beach. The scene is believed to be a teaser for the "Fifty Shades Freed" sequel. Whether it will really be Jamie Dornan's last shot for dark sex scenes or not is yet to be seen.
