Car manufacturers always put drivers' safety first before anything else. That's why car manufacturers, like Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, always make sure that all the cars the make are up to their standard in terms of safety and everything else before the cars go out of the factory. Ordering a recall of cars due to safety concerns is every car manufacturers' worst nightmare.

Just recently, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles announced that they are issuing an order recalling their cars due to issues concerning loose bolts, according to a report from Auto World News. The recall would include nearly 75,000 cars of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

Apparently, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is the second car manufacturer to order a recall this Feb. Just last week, Lamborghini ordered a recall of the Aventador due to fire risks on the exhaust system, via a report from Auto World News.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles ordered the recall after they discovered that cars that are fitted with driveshaft bolts are not tightly secured. As a result, the driveshaft bolts could loosen and therefore increases the risk of an accident.

Among the car models that were ordered recalled by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles due to loose bolts are the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 models. The model years of the affected cars of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles are from 2014 to 2017.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has already informed the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHSTA) regarding the loose bolt issues of the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 models. According to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, some models of the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 have not been properly fitted with their powertrains during the manufacturing process.

The NHSTA said that the bolts that were fitted on the front driveshaft of the affected Fiat Chrysler Automobiles vehicles could loosen after some time. If ever the bolts do loosen after some time, the driveshaft could possibly disconnect and therefore would result in a crash.

The NHSTA were also advised by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles that there are noticeable signs warning drivers before any such incidents can happen. According to the NHSTA, drivers should be able to notice some unusual noise and vibration in their vehicles. That's the tell-tale sign that the bolts are starting to get loose.

The recall is expected to start on March 31, according to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. No accidents or injuries because of the loose bolts have been reported so far.
