After all the Marvel Comics movies that had different superheroes teaming up together, like in "Captain America: Civil War" and "The Avengers", fans clamoured that DC do the same with their movie franchise. Now, after the blockbuster hit "Batman v Superman" that showcased three DC superheroes in the same move, it appears that fans will get more of what they have been waiting. In the latter part of this movie, Batman learns about the existence of Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman and decides to form a team with them to battle whatever threatens the Earth.
The first teaser for "The Justice League", released during the 2016 Comic-con, features Ben Affleck's character, Bruce Wayne/Batman, working alongside Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman to find and recruit The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) as per the movie's official website. As people witnessed this first look at DC's superhero team, hype for the movie was unavoidable and there were some expectations as to what would be seen in the future trailers for the movie.
According to Movie Pilot, seeing Ben Affleck's Batman lead the Justice League is something that will hopefully happen. With his final words after Superman's death in "Batman v Superman" being "I failed him in life, I won't fail him in death", it would appear that Batman is ready to lead the charge against evil to protect the World as Superman tried to do. That being said, a better look into the main antagonist of movie, Steppenwolf and, maybe, show scenes of him taking on the Justice League.
Another hopeful expectation is getting to see a glimpse of The Hall of Justice, which, in the comic books, is the base of operations of the Justice League. The teaser shows Batman and Wonder Woman working out of what looks to be the Bat-Cave from the "Batman v Superman" movie but since the new movie will establish the Justice League, having their own official headquarters could be better for the plot of future movies. All of this is speculation and wishful thinking as the latest trailer for the movie has yet to be released.
