Two of the WWE's top stars could be battling through injuries after a WWE show from Leeds Thursday night. Reports have indicated that Cena, whose arm is already a concern, may have injured his ankle during a match while Punk was also slow to get up after his match, but the two should be healthy enough to continue wrestling.

Cena returned from surgery to repair a torn triceps and distended elbow at the WWE's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view Oct. 27, three months earlier than expected, and won the World Heavyweight Championship. Since his return, WWE has been using him to their full advantage having him appear on both RAW and SmackDown as well as European live events.

According to reports, Cena took on Del Rio in the main event at Leeds Thursday night, but apparently it was his ankle that ailed him and not his surgically repaired arm, which had reportedly been "hurting.". Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Cena whipped Del Rio into the corner during the match and hit the floor and didn't get back up. Del Rio played to the crowd while Cena was on the mat checking on his ankle. At one point, the report indicates, the referee stopped the match and put up the "X" signal to symbolize an injury.

Cena apparently was able to finish the match and walked off on his own power, but another injury to Cena would be dangerous for the company as its ratings were doing poorly before he returned.

In Punk's case, he was involved in a tag team match with Daniel Bryan against Erick Rowan and Luke Harper of The Wyatt Family. After Punk and Bryan took care of them and won the match, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Punk stayed on the mat with his head down for a few moments and a referee and Bryan checked on Punk while he was down in the ring.

Punk left the ringside area on his own power while Bryan stayed behind to celebrate the victory with the fans. Luckily for the WWE, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that both men were just banged up as Cena was fine after his match with Del Rio though his arm could still be a concern going forward, while Punk reportedly landed badly at one point during the tag match but seemed to be fine as the show came to an end.

The two men are featured prominently on the WWE's upcoming Survivor Series card, as Cena and Del Rio will faceoff for the World Heavyweight Championship and Punk and Bryan are set to take on Rowan and Harper in a standard tag match at the show.

WWE Survivor Series airs Sunday Nov. 24 live from the TD Garden in Boston, and the WWE hopes to have all healthy hands on deck when the 27th annual Survivor Series blasts off in Boston.
