Manny Pacquiao Vs Amir Khan Leading In Pacquiao Twitter Poll, Pacquiao Vs Horn Fight Possibly Scrapped

Manny Pacquiao has just asked his fans to pick his next opponent in his upcoming bout that will be held in the United Arab Emirates. Pacquiao made this pronouncement on his official Twitter page.

"See you in UAE for my next fight," the fighting Senator from the Philippines posted on his official Twitter page. A more recent Manny Pacquiao twitter post asked his fans to vote who they want to see the world champion fight next.

The Filipino fighter is considered as one of the best boxers of this generation. Pacquiao has won an unprecedented eleven major world titles in eight weight division. According to BBC, Amir Khan is currently leading the online poll for Pacquiao next fight. The Pacquiao Twitter post listed Khan, Jeff Horn, Terrence Crawford and Kell Brook as choices.

Khan and Brook were supposed to meet each other in the boxing ring. However, according to telegraph, the Khan vs Brooks boxing match negotiation turned sour due to financial demands and both sides are already considering different opponents.

The "who will be Manny Pacquiao's next opponent?" twitter post has been met with a bit of a surprise since there are already reports that the Filipino pugilist will be meeting Jeff Horn in Australia for his next fight. Though contracts have not yet been signed, reports already suggested that the Pacquiao vs Horn is a done deal.

The Pacquiao vs Horn fight would have been the best payday for the promising Australian boxer, however, the fight may already be in jeopardy now that Khan is leading the online polls. Khan was quoted in the past that Pacquiao does not want to fight him because of fear.

An Amir Khan vs Manny Pacquiao bout will be interesting especially since Khan has served as a Pacquiao sparring partner in the past and also used to train under Freddie Roach. Pacquiao adviser Michael Koncz said that more details about a possible Pacquiao vs Khan fight will be released soon.
