As the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event was over, two superstars emerge the biggest winner: Randy Orton and John Cena. And though WrestleMania 33 is still far from happening, reports are spreading that the two superstars could possibly collide for the main event match and might fight for the WWE Championship.

Orton has to fight several big time superstar like Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Goldberg, Bray Wyatt and The Undertaker. And in the end, he emerges by eliminating Reigns and become the winner by being the last man standing in the ring. Meanwhile, Cena has to fight at the highest level to overcome and defeat the very determined ex-champ AJ Styles. With the win, Cena got his 16th World Title and tied Ric Flair's record that solidify himself as one of the greatest.

And now, recent reports are saying that Cena could be one possible opponent for Orton on WrestleMania 33. According to FOXSports, since Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble match there is a big indication that he will be part of the WrestleMania 33 event. Though there is still no confirmation about it, many believed that he is already assured of a spot on the main attraction.

There are 5 potential opponents for the Viper which includes John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt as per stated in the report. But most fans are already requesting for a Cena vs Orton rematch to rekindle their rivalry once more. Cena has the WWE Championship belt and this could be a good plot to make the match happen.

Fansided also reported that Cena and Orton have a long time great battle throughout the years and setting up a match on the Grandest Stage of Them All will surely fire up again the interest of WWE fans. Most especially if both wrestlers will fight for a championship belt.

However, this scenario will all depend on the upcoming events as Cena will still to defend his title against five more superstars in the WWE Elimination Chamber. If John Cena will survive the challenge coming from AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, Baron Corbin and The Miz and still came out as the champion, there's a big chance that the road to WrestleMania 33 facing Randy Orton will happen.
