Reports signaling the end of Tim Tebow's NFL aspirations may be greatly exaggerated.

After word leaked this week that Tebow had signed with "prominent broadcast agent" Nick Khan of CAA, it was widely assumed the 26-year-old former Heisman Trophy winner was ready to hang up his cleats and head for the broadcast booth.

But TMZ now reports Tebow continues to work out and hone his mechanics. He also was recently spotted putting himself "through grueling QB drills" at a private field in Los Angeles.

According to sources, the man cut by Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots in training camp earlier this year spent about four hours on the field during one of his most recent workouts, most of it working on throwing drills.

To date, Tebow has resisted all suggestions that he either consider changing positions or get more seasoning by competing on a less than NFL-level stage in hopes of getting his playing career back on track.

TMZ previously reported that if Tebow does indeed decide to venture into broadcasting his preference would be to work college games over NFL level one.
