Tiger Woods and Olympic skiing girlfriend Lindsey Vonn appear in harmony.

Days after Vonn told NBC's Katie Couric her world top-ranked golfer boyfriend is "dorky," Woods admits in an interview with CNN he too sees himself as "nerdy."

"I guess so," Woods told USA Today. "My teammates used to call me Urkel back in college. Yeah, I do have that little nerdy side of me. That's probably why I got into Stanford."

Woods has jokingly mentioned the Urkel nickname in the past when referring to himself and has often been described by other members of The Tour as somewhat of a loner.

Woods, 37, and Vonn have now publicly been dating for more than a year after he infamously split with first wife, Elin Nordegren, after as many as 15 women stepped forward to claim they had been romantically involved with him.

While insisting she has no plans for marriage, the previously divorced Vonn has long claimed she and Woods get along famously and that she respects and admires the way he handles all the pressure that never seems to cease in being directed at him.

"We're athletes, so I guess we have something in common there," she recently told reporters. "We met at his charity event in Vegas, Tiger Jam, and, yeah, we were friends for a long time. I don't know, we just kind of relate really well to one another."
