Jenner reportedly has been telling friends he believes Odom is a "good soul" and that his son-in-law is now clean and sober.
"Everybody's got s**t in their life and they need to learn how to deal with it," Jenner told friends according to HollywoodLife. "Lamar didn't deal with his very well."
Since moving in with Jenner, Odom has reportedly been working out constantly and is stand to be intent on rebuilding his NBA career. After spending last season with the L.A. Clippers, Odom is now a free agent.
In the season finale of her Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality show, Kardashian reflected on earlier and happier times the couple once spent together, including their wedding day.
"If someone, God forbid, gets their legs cut off or gets breast cancer, do you just leave someone because they're like slowing down your life?" she said. "I'm trying to help and save, but there's nothing more I can do."
