The professional American Football game and National Football League fans are already waiting eagerly for the Super Bowl Ll, which is the annual championship game of the league. But the fans have much more to watch.

According to ABC News, the famous American country music singer, and songwriter, Luke Bryan is all set to sing the National Anthem ahead of Super Bowl Ll in Houston. The Super Bowl is scheduled on 5 February 2017 at the NRG stadium in Houston, Texas.

This will be the first time for Luke Bryan to perform at the big event as he has never played the Super Bowl before. He's got this great chance after stars such as Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Garth Brooks, Dixie Chicks, Vanessa Williams, Luther Vandross and Idina Menzel, who performed anthem in the past events.

This year Luke Bryan's name will also be added to the list of singers who sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl Ll.

CBS Sports reports that Luke Bryan informed his fans about his performance in the event through twitter. Bryan tweeted, "Hey guys, it's Luke Bryan here. And I'm so excited to announce I will be performing the national anthem at Super Bowl LI live from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, right here on Fox, Sunday, Feb. 5."

He also tweeted, "Excited to perform the National Anthem on @NFL's biggest stage #SB51. See y'all in Houston,"

Bryan will not perform alone in the big event. Lady Gaga will be performing at the halftime of the show. Last year Lady Gaga sang the national anthem in the game but this year the show will open up with Bryan's performance following with Lady Gaga's performance.

Bryan has a record of selling more than eight million albums; with the album "Kill the Lights" reaching more than 3.5 million in sales and online streaming for this pick has been done more than 400 million times. Luke Bryan is also known for hosting the ACM awards for straight four years.
