As the 2016-17 NBA season rapidly approaches, the Lakers don't have to worry about a rift between Nick Young and D'Angelo Russell.

The teammates made headlines for all the wrong reasons last season after Russell recorded "Swaggy P" admitting to cheating on his then-fiancée Iggy Azalea. Young wasn't aware he was being filmed and once the news leaked, it eventually led to the end of his engagement to the "Fancy" singer.

Though they've tried to move on, people haven't forgotten about the scandal. When Russell attended a recent Drake concert in Los Angeles, he was heckled with chants of "hide your phone."

While the people apparently aren't ready to forgive him, it seems like Young has. The Lakers star said he is "good" with Russell and wants people to back off of him, according to TMZ Sports.

The filming of Young was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his cheating scandal.

Shortly after the scandal first broke, Azalea wrote on Instagram that she was single and revealed on Twitter that she split from Young because she saw on security footage that her fiancé went behind her back in their own home.

One of the girls Young fooled around with was his ex, Keonna Green, who admitted she got with him behind Azalea's back. Green, who already has a child with Young, also claimed she was pregnant again.

Young has recently been linked to R&B star Paloma Ford, while Russell reportedly ran into lady trouble of his own with girlfriend Niki Withers.

Both stars will look to leave their off-court drama in the past and help the Lakers bounce back after their third straight worst season in franchise history.
