Lana made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania, but her life in the squared circle was short-lived

The "Ravishing Russian" was in a multi-woman tag team match on April 3 at the "Show of Shows." Her team lost, but it was a big step for Lana as it marked her first WWE match.

Since then, she has returned to her more familiar role, serving as the on-screen valet of her husband, Rusev.

Though her career as a wrestler appeared to fizzle out, Lana said she would like another opportunity to jump back in once the right opportunity arises.

"I would love to do it but when the time is right," Lana told Crave Online. "It was always a dream for me to do my debut match at WrestleMania and people would laugh at me. People would laugh at me all the time for my crazy ideas. Reach for the stars and at the very least, you will get the moon and so I would say my first match is going to be at WrestleMania and people would laugh at me and sure enough it happened.

"So right now I've been filming a lot of things for 'Total Divas' and focusing on my weddings so when all of that passes, I'm sure you will see a lot more of me in the ring."

Lana and Rusev tied the knot twice this summer, once in Bulgaria and once in the United States. The weddings will be a focal point of this season of "Total Divas," as Lana joins the cast for the first time.

The couple recently went on their honeymoon, but returned to action this past week on "RAW" when Rusev cost Roman Reigns his match against Kevin Owens.

Rusev is likely to defend the United States Championship against Reigns at Clash of the Champions on Sept. 25. Lana is set to be by his side and unlikely to compete in the ring.
