CM Punk's embarrassing loss to Mickey Gall is nothing compared to the humiliation of Paige VanZant's comments reguarding the former wrestler.

Punk was forced to tap out to Gall in his UFC debut in a bout that spanned just over two minutes. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion didn't get a single blow in on his opponent, a disappointing ending to a UFC debut that wasn't quite worth the trouble or delays in getting there.

VanZant recently was approached about the "Best in the World's" horrid debut and said his age may have been a factor. Punk, 37, had no prior MMA experience and took on Gall, 24, who has been fighting from a young age and has plenty of experience.

"I love CM Punk," VanZant told TMZ Sports. "I wanted him to do well. I think he's just a little too old for it."

Punk has now been roasted twice in one week. Despite the mortifying loss, Punk said he still intends to pursue his dreams of being a mixed martial artist -- just not in the UFC.

As for VanZant, 22, she recently defeated Bec Rawlings in two rounds at UFC Fight Night in Vancouver last month. The blonde bombshell also recently had a bit of a feud with Ronda Rousey, but she downplayed it.

"Rowdy" was angry over VanZant congratulating Holly Holm on defeating her for the UFC women's bantamweight championsihp last November. It was Rousey's first loss in the Octagon, and she hasn't appeared in a UFC fight since then.

Despite the rumored rift, VanZant never seemed to worried about it.

"I don't know, you're gonna have to ask Ronda, but I don't have a lot to say about it," VanZant told TMZ Sports in May. "She didn't scare me, it was just ... I don't know. A little bit of nonsense. ... I definitely think we'll bury the hatchet. I'm not too stressed about it. She was a little angry that day."

Now she may have to bury the hatchet with Punk after insulting his age.
