Steph Curry is listed as day-to-day with a bone bruise in his ankle after missing Friday morning's shootaround.

Given Curry's history of ankle related injuries, the Golden State Warriors are concerned and expected to be cautious with how they move forward with their All-Star guard, according to ProBasketballTalk.com.

Coach Mark Jackson told ProBasketballTalk if Curry is not able to play, veteran guard Toney Douglas will serve as his replacement. The website reports Curry tried to convince Jackson he was up to the challenge of the Spurs by shooting, and actually making, an assortment of left-handed threes after practice.

Curry suffered his injury Wednesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves after driving to the basket and rolling his ankle after landing on the foot of forward Kevin Love.

Curry's absence would be a big one of the Warriors, currently the team is outscoring opponents by an average of 15.1 points per 100 possessions, with the trio of Curry, David Lee and Klay Thompson leading the way.

Currently, Curry is averaging team highs of 24 points and nine assists per game in leading the Warriors to a 4-1 start.
