Jimmy Walker won the PGA Championship title on Sunday and his celebration had a lot of people buzzing more than his golf game.

Walker overcame an aggressive charge from Jason Day, who put the pressure on him with an eagle, but he was able to par the 18th hole and sunk a putt to win the title.

After the win, he celebrated with his wife, Erin Stiegemeier, and gave her a pat on the bottom that was caught by cameras and created a bit of a buzz: Stiegemeier was right by her husband's side as he won the tournament and held up the trophy in victory.

Walker's celebratory tap of his wife generated quite a stir on social media:

The celebration occurred after Day really turned up the heat on Walker, who was happy to end a long, tough day with some hardware.

"There was nothing easy about the day -- really about the week, for that matter," Walker said, according to ESPN. "Especially coming down the last hole."

Walker, 37, has won the PGA tour six times, but Sunday was the first major title of his career. It seems that feat was certainly worth a love tap.

Walker and Stiegemeier first met in 2004 thanks to golf as he was on tour and she worked as a volunteer at a Web.com Tour event, according to the golfer's official website. They later married and now have two kids together, one of which was excited to celebrate his father's achievement:

Stiegemeier and Walker clearly have a loving relationship, which the golfer often displays on his Instagram page:
