The WWE Draft wasn't very kind to real-life couple Alberto Del Rio and Paige.

The "Essence of Excellence" and two-time Divas Champion ended up on different shows and will now travel separately during the brand extension.

With the No. 29 overall pick in Round 6 of Tuesday night's Draft, "SmackDown Live" commissioner Shane McMahon and general manager Daniel Bryan selected Del Rio. With the No. 35 overall pick in Round 7 on the WWE Network, "Monday Night RAW" commissioner Stephanie McMahon and general manager Mick Foley nabbed Paige.

That officially means that the newly public couple won't be on the same show going forward. It's likely that neither of the two are happy about the current situation.

Reports of Del Rio and Paige being a couple first surfaced when pictures of them kissing and getting romantic at a Disney theme park appeared online back in May.

At first, there were theories of it being a "Total Divas" angle, but it quickly became obvious that the two really were together. It was confirmed when Del Rio attended a non-WWE wrestling event back in May and Paige was by his side.

Del Rio, 39, was previously married to a woman by the name of Angela Rodriguez, but it seems they've split up. Paige, 23, had her last well-known relationship with A Day To Remember rocker Kevin Skaff come to an end in the public eye on the "Total Divas" reality show.

"I'm really sad it didn't work out with Kevin because I really did want it to work," Paige said on the show. "I really loved Kevin, I loved spending time with him. Even though I felt terrible and guilty, it's just ... it's for the best."

Judging by Paige's social media posts about Del Rio, she may not have difficulty making it work with her latest flame.

News of the Paige-Del Rio romance quickly circulated and even Foley had some fun with it, posting a meme of their relationship on Facebook and later commenting that he got the okay from the couple to use it.

With the brand extension in full force, the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series are the only time that both brands are expected to be represented together other than some other possible special occasions. This Sunday's Battleground is also a rare exception due to its close proximity to the Draft.
