Finn Balor has teased that he could be headed to the main roster.
The former NXT Champion dropped a huge hint that could mean he's coming to the main roster when the brand extension comes in full force this Tuesday on the first live edition of "SmackDown."
Saturday night's NXT live event in Kentucky was the final NXT event prior to this Tuesday's draft and saw Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, American Alpha and Bayley teamed up to defeat Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, The Revival and Alexa Bliss in the jam packed main event.
After the bout, Balor grabbed the microphone and asked if someone left the door open because he feels "a draft" coming, strongly hinting that he's headied to either "RAW" or "SmackDown," according to WrestlingInc. He then noted that he had no idea what was happening in the upcoming brand split, but also said everyone in the ring will one day compete at WrestleMania.
There are a plethora of options for Balor to feud with should he ever make it to the main roster. This also isn't the first time that the NXT star has hinted a promotion.
Balor teased using fan art last August that he would be appearing at SummerSlam and also hinted at being a Paul Heyman Guy, but such an appearance never came to fruition.
The WWE is expected to gut NXT and raid its talent, while more surprise past faces are slated to return, as a way to round out the roster for the upcoming draft. It has been speculated for months that Balor and Bayley will be two of the major faces to surface at the event on Tuesday, but nothing has been confirmed.
That doesn't mean Balor isn't having fun teasing the audience. The question is: Would he make a better "RAW" or "SmackDown" guy?
