Tim Tebow appears to want to "Make America Great Again."

Presidential candidate Donald Trump has tabbed the former Heisman Trophy winner to speak at the Republican National Convention, which will occur in Cleveland next week. The billionaire has planned on having a sports contigency at the event for quite some time.

Tebow, who is no stranger to public speaking, has appeared on a list of speakers for the four-day event that was obtained by the New York Times.

Trump has had many supporters in the football realm, including the likes of Patriots quaterback Tom Brady and Steelers signal caller Ben Roethlisberger, but neither is slated to speak next week.

Tebow isn't the only sports-related figure slated to speak as UFC president Dana White will appear on Night 2 and golfer Natalie Gulbis, who appeared on "Celebrity Apprentice," will also be involved in Night 4.

Trump has been a fan of Tebow for years and even recently came under fire for purchasing a signed jersey and helmet of the former NFL quarterback back in 2012 with money he obtained from one of his charities. He has yet to explain the controversy publicly.

Here is the full list of speakers for the Republican National Convention:

Tebow, 28, has been plenty busy despite not being in the NFL anymore. The former NFL star is currently co-hosting the Fox show "Home Free" and appears on "SEC Nation" during college football season.

The former quarterback hasn't played in an NFL career since 2012, but he's remained in the public eye. Tebow had stints with the Broncos -- which led to Trump purchasing the memorabilia -- as well as the Jets, but he was cut prior to the season starting during his stops with the Patriots and Eagles.

Though he hasn't been an NFL star in four years, Tebow will once again make waves at the Republican National Convention.
