Lindsey Vonn made things a bit uncomfortable for J.J. Watt on the ESPY Awards red carpet.

The skier took part in a joint interview alongside the Texans defensive end, which was conducted by ESPN's Hannah Storm. Things got uncomfortable in a hurry.

First, Vonn chastised Watt for not attending her rooftop party in California, quipping that he had to "pump some iron and do some photo shoots, and really cool things."

While things were fine there with both Storm and Watt being receptive, things then got weird. Storm praised Watt for having a tremendous season in 2015 despite playing through multiple injuries. When asking Watt how he had such a productive season despite many ailments, Vonn interrupted.

"And lots of massages in the groin area," she quipped.

The joke seemed to shock both Storm and Watt and the interview was pretty much derailed from there. The groin comment is especially interesting since the defensive end has been notably single.

Ever since his split from tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, Watt has had a tough time finding a new girlfriend and even lamented about living the single life publicly.

"People [I know] think that I've never dated before, or whatever," Watt said last September via CBS Sports. "But I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm just unsuccessful. My schedule's so crazy and life's so busy, it just hasn't worked."

Watt has also recently been linked to two actresses.

He was spotted out on what appeared to be a date with Kate Hudson, and reports then surfaced that he had a thing with Victoria Justice. Hudson later set the record straight -- saying they have the same agent and were at a big party together with many others -- while Watt apparently is still single.

As for Vonn, she had her high-proile relationship with Tiger Woods come to an end last year. The skier recently has been romantically linked to "Vikings" star Alexander Ludwig, but she later called him just a friend.
