Kobe Bryant has been getting very busy during his retirement.

The five-time NBA champion called it a career when the season ended back in April, and it seems it gave him plenty of time to expand on his family.

Bryant and his wife, Vanessa, are expecting their third child together, a girl, according to TMZ Sports.

"Beyond blessed and excited to share that we are expecting our third baby girl!!! #Blessed #BabyMamba #Thankful," Vanessa Bryant wrote on social media.

The couple has two daughters already, Natalia, 13, and Gianna, 10. Now, they're set to welcome a third baby girl into the world.

Back in April, the Black Mamba hung up his cleats after 20 years in the NBA -- all with the Lakers. He ended his tenure with five rings, a 2008 MVP Award, two NBA Finals MVP Awards and 18 All-Star appearances among multiple other accolades.

Bryant finished his run with 33,643 points, an average of 25 points per game.

There have been a lot of questions as to what Bryant's future will hold post-NBA. One popular theory that has emerged is that Bryant will become a coach in the league, but his wife's friend, singer Monica, said it's Mrs. Bryant who has the final say in what happens next.

"You have to ask Vanessa," Monica told TMZ earlier this year. "The head lady in charge has to make that decision because it puts you right back at games, it puts you right back in your seat, cheering, screaming [and] going crazy and it puts you back to having to make everything better after a loss."

Bryant closed his career with a bang, attempting an NBA-record 50 shots and netting 60 points in his final game.

The future Hall of Famer won the NBA championship with the Lakers in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2010 -- giving each of his rings to his wife afterward.

Now that his career is over, Bryant is ready to welcome a new bundle of joy into his home.
