Mike Fisher knows exactly where he stands in the looks deparment compared to his wife.

The Predators center celebrated six years of marriage with Carrie Underwood this week, and he conceded he "married up" in a photo he posted on Instagram to commemorate the occasion.

While Fisher is definitely a good looking guy -- especially for an NHL player -- it's hard to deny that landing a blonde bombshell like the country singer is a tall task for anyone. Fisher posted a photo of the two on their wedding day, discussing how beautiful his wife is in the caption.

Fisher, 36, not only has a great life off the ice, but he had a tremendous year professionally as Nashville made the playoffs for the second straight year. The Predators knocked off the Western Conference powerhouse Ducks in the franchise's first ever Game 7 in Round 1, but then fell to the eventual Western Conference champion Sharks in another series that went the distance.

The center had 13 goals and 10 assists for 23 points in the regular season and went on to go 5-2--7 in 14 playoff games. Underwood has had a great run herself, touring the country with her "The Storyteller" tour this past spring.

Fisher also notched an on-ice milestone this season, playing in his 1,000th NHL game, which Underwood attended. The former American Idol winner beamed with pride afterward.

"It's very special for our family to get to be here for Mike," Underwood told NHL.com in March after attending the game. "He's there for me and for us as much as he possibly can be with his busy schedule and it's nice to be able to return the favor."

The Predators forward has 258 goals, 285 assists and 543 points through 1,016 career NHL games.

Everyone knows -- even Fisher -- that his biggest score was landing Underwood.
