Brock Lesnar is set to crash "The Biggest Party of the Summer."

Fresh off of his win over Mark Hunt on Saturday at UFC 200, "The Beast" is set to return to the WWE for SummerSlam on Aug. 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Lesnar will do battle with Randy Orton at the WWE's second biggest event of the year.

Last time, we delved into why "The Viper" is a good choice for Lesnar's opponent. Now, we'll look at five alternatives the WWE may have looked over. To view this article in slideshow form, CLICK START at the top right of this page.

1) Dean Ambrose

The "Lunatic Fringe" already faced Lesnar at WrestleMania 32, but their feud never really received any closure. With Ambrose losing to Lesnar at the "Show of Shows" and then becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion just two months later, it would make sense for "The Beast" to have claims to a title shot. The feud came to a quiet end, but Lesnar would technically deserve a title shot, while it's feasible Ambrose would want some revenge from WrestleMania.

2) Bray Wyatt

Speaking of feuds with no closure, the "Eater of Worlds" seemed to be on a collision course with Lesnar back at the Royal Rumble in January, but the WWE never followed up after planting the seeds. The WWE aborted the Lesnar-Wyatt match and seemed to preserve it for another day. That day could have been SummerSlam, but the company has opted not to go forward with the bout thus far.

3) Kevin Owens

Much like Orton, Owens has the striking offense that would make him a sound adversary for Lesnar. He also is a bit bigger than the guys Lesnar usually faces, which would make him more of a perceived threat. KO has been money since making his main roster debut and a back-and-forth between him and Paul Heyman on the microphone leading into a match would have been absolute gold.

4) Cesaro

The "Swiss Superman" is constantly being overlooked when it comes to big pushes despite the fact that he has great charisma and is solid in the ring. He's also extremely over with the WWE Universe. Cesaro would make a great opponent for Lesnar and the spectacle of the "King of Swing" putting Lesnar in the swing would be worth the price of admission.

5) Goldberg

Now that the former WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Champion is back in the fold to appear in "WWE 2K17," it seemed to open the door for a possible in-ring return. The logical opponent for Goldberg has always been Lesnar given the way they stunk up the joint at WrestleMania XX in 2004 when the entire WWE Universe knew both were leaving the company. Goldberg has hinted at a rematch, and SummerSlam would have been a perfect venue.
