Nikki Bella is closing in on a return to the squared circle.

The longest-reigning Divas (now Women's) Champion of all time hasn't wrestled since October and underwent surgery back in January to repair a neck injury. She has aimed for a summer return and it seems that potential comeback could happen in a few weeks.

Bella took to Twitter to update her fans on her status for a return, saying her final test on her neck is due in a couple of weeks, which could be a sign she's very close to a return:

The "Fearless" one will have a new finisher when she returns to the ring as she can no longer use the Rack Attack due to the stress it puts on her surgically repaired neck. Bella has been working on a new finisher with her brother-in-law Daniel Bryan, who retired from wrestling in February due to a bout with concussions.

When Bella returns, she'll have to get used to a world in which she wrestles and travels without her twin sister, Brie. After Bryan retired, Brie, his wife, also called it a career following a match at WrestleMania 32 back in April. The couple is now focused on starting a family with their life as active wrestlers now a thing of the past.

Bella's boyfriend, John Cena, recently returned to the WWE after a lengthy absence due to a shoulder injury. The couple has been together for nearly five years, but hasn't taken their relationship to the next level.

While Bella has been adamant about wanting marriage and kids, Cena has balked on taking the next big step in their relationship.

"I just have things I need to get done," Cena recently told Rolling Stone in May.. "It's not negotiable. We've been to therapy over it. I don't think it will ever be over with. I'm stubborn as f--k and extremely selfish as well. I don't want kids, I don't want marriage. That's me just saying, 'Hey, this is my life and this is how I'm going to live.'"

As for her return, Bella has a plethora of new women to feud with as the WWE has called up some NXT talents and developed the likes of Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch -- which could lead to major programs for Bella.
