John Cena has found some brand new allies in Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

The WWE has put the former NXT tandem together with the "Cenation" leader to form a mega group. The trio will battle AJ Styles and The Club at Battleground on July 24 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

Here are three reasons why it was a great idea to team the three up.

1) Similar Beginnings

When Cena first made his WWE debut, he was very similar to Amore and Cass. The 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion was always able to captivate the audience with the microphone, using the stick to put himself over with his rapping gimmick. There are some similarities between Cena's early outings and the first few months of Enzo and Cass' tenure as both use the microphone to deliver catch phrases and get over, much like Cena did, and now putting them together could help propel the newcomers to the next level.

2) Fresh Feud

These days, the WWE has a bad habit of running singles matches in long-term feuds at two or three consecutive major events until they go stale. In this case, however, a six-man tag team match adds a fresh layer to the on-going Styles-Cena rivalry. Since the two only fought once thus far, with the "Phenomenal One" going over at Money in the Bank, this bout will provide a nice bridge to a rematch between the two at SummerSlam, especially if it gives Cena a chance to go over Styles at Battleground, setting the stage for their next showdown.

3) Club Strength

This feud is also good for Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows as it gets them into the ring with the face of the franchise, while also pulls them from the sidelines of the feud and into the actual rivalry itself. This could also revitalize the tag division down the line as The Club can now engage with Enzo and Cass in a long-term separate feud, which would only grow more intense if one of these teams were able to wrest away the WWE Tag Team Championsips from The New Day down the line.
