The drama between Ciara and her former fiancé Future has taken a very dark turn as the R&B star fears the rapper will try and kill her future husband.

It's no secret that things are ugly between the "Dance Like We're Making Love" singer and her former flame, but the latest wrinkle in her defamation lawsuit against him is a crazy one.

In her updated legal documents in her defamation lawsuit, Ciara claims that she's worried Future will murder Russell Wilson, citing specific threats he made, according to TMZ Sports. One thing the "I Bet" singer pointed out is that Future recently fired off a tweet with football emojis having guns pointed at them, seemingly hinting at coming after Wilson.

Future also appeared to threaten Wilson in an O.J. Simpson-inspired track entitled "Juice" last month.

"Tryna f--k my baby mama, dog what's up with you?" the lyrics read. "You gon' make me get that heat, I'm pulling up on you."

Ciara has called the whole ordeal "frightening" and even took aim at Future for toting gun violence given the society we live in this day and age, calling his behavior "socially irresponsible ... where there has been a recent rash of gun violence."

The singer was very agitated after Future's comments calling her washed up and a bad mother, which led to her defamation lawsuit against him. The singer claimed the disparaging remarks only were made as a way for him to trash her due to being "tormented" by her success and high-profile relationship.

Ciara and Future also don't see eye-to-eye over Wilson having a great relationship with Baby Future, as the rapper has been very clear he doesn't like the quarterback's role in his son's life. Ciara, meanwhile, has tabbed her husband-to-be as a stepfather to her child.

The problems between the parties grew so large that Ciara recently filed to gain sole custody over the 2-year-old, but it was denied by a judge in court back in May.

Wilson and Ciara got engaged in March, but it hasn't been all happiness as they continue to be surrounded by drama.
