By all appearances, the push for Sasha Banks is back on.

The WWE built up some momentum for "The Boss" around WrestleMania season, but followed it up by keeping her off of its main television shows.

With the brand extension looming, the company has once again brought Banks into the limelight and looks to be pushing her toward the WWE Women's Championship.

Banks recently addressed her absence and what she's looking to do now that she's back.

"That's the No. 1 question on everybody's mind, that's the No. 1 thing that everyone's talking about on social media," Banks told Michael Cole in his WWE.com weekly interview. "But listen, don't worry about where I've been. I strike while the irons hot and I'm coming for that WWE Women's Championship.

Banks returned to the fold during the edition of "Monday Night RAW" following Money in the Bank earlier this month and attacked current champion, Charlotte.

The pink-haired WWE Superstar reiterated that she wants to end up on "SmackDown" in the WWE Draft due to the Blue Brand's ties to the late Eddie Guerrero, who is her hero. Banks said she had "goose bumps" pulling off Guerrero's signature frogsplash at WrestleMania 32 back on April 3.

Though she wasn't crowned champion like most pundits predicted she would be at WrestleMania, it's likely Banks will have her moment at SummerSlam on Aug. 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

It was at that very venue she put on a 2015 Match of the Year contender with Bayley at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn last summer.

"That just gives me goose bumps because that's been a dream of mine since I was 10," Banks said. "Before, we were just Divas and we were looked at as nothing more than just a popcorn match. And that match at NXT: Brooklyn, everybody was on their feet. We created something special and we ended up with a Divas Revolution, which evolved into a women's evolution.

"People are buying tickets to see the women. We're equal now. We're Superstars. I'm not here to be a Diva, I'm here to be a women's wrestler. I'm here to change the game and I'm here to be the best."

Banks has overcome many obstacles -- including a freak concussion injury earlier this year and some questionable decisions by the creative team -- but she now appears poised to be the face of the women's division when the brands split starting July 19.

"You're talking to Sasha Banks, the best of all time," she said. "I was born to do this. I was born to be champion and you can bank on that."
