Who's Next for the "RAW" and "SmackDown" draft? Apparently not Bill Goldberg.

With the upcoming brand extension, there have been a lot of reports surfacing of the WWE reaching out to older talents for returns to round out the rosters. Goldberg is one popular name being thrown around now that he's working with the WWE by appearing in the upcoming WWE 2K17 video game.

The WWE Draft is set for Tuesday, July 19, the first live edition of "SmackDown," but Goldberg recently killed any rumors about being a part of it -- saying he hasn't been contacted by anyone from the WWE.

"WWE has not called me to be a part of any roster," Goldberg told 411 Mania. "My relationship with WWE stands with the video game and the video game only. If they want to extend an olive branch and pick up the phone, then I will make a comment on that once they do it. But prior to that, nothing's been done."

A return to the WWE for Goldberg is an interesting proposition -- especially since there are a plethora of new Superstars he can feud with. It also brings up the possibility for the former WWE and WCW World Heavyweight Champion to redeem himself against Brock Lesnar.

The last time Goldberg was seen in a WWE ring, he faced "The Beast" at WrestleMania XX in March 2004 in Madison Square Garden. The WWE Universe knew both combatants were leaving after the marquee show and turned against them, railing on the match.

Goldberg recently said he thinks about a rematch with Lesnar every day, and given "The Beast's" part-time contract with Vince McMahon's company, a rematch is possible if Goldberg were ever to return.

The former man behind the 173-0 streak in WCW has had his issues with the WWE, but he said he's willing to part with those differences if a return offer was ever placed on the table.

"Hey man, I think it's widely known at this stage that I am willing to put past differences aside and make some money and do the right thing for the fans," he said. "If it happens, it happens. It's all good. If it doesn't, I truly am not going to miss a beat of my life. I am busy right now with my family, let alone all my other projects. It's an opportunity if it presents itself. Am I holding my breath? If I am, I must be pretty damn good because that means I've been holding it for the last 12 years, which I haven't."
