The WWE Draft is drawing near and it will bring a lot of familiar faces back to the fold.

Roster members of the WWE will be divided into separate "RAW" and "SmackDown" brands on the live edition of the Blue Brand on July 19. Each brand will be spearheaded by a McMahon as Shane McMahon and his sister, Stephanie, will both serve as figureheads.

While the current roster may not be that deep, the WWE is reportedly set to gut NXT and bring back some older Superstars to round things out.

Here are five past faces we want to see return to the fold during the WWE Draft.

1) Bill Goldberg

Now that he's under the WWE umbrella again with his involvement in WWE 2K17, it seems inevitable that Goldberg will return for at least one more match. With the WWE Draft conveniently being held just a month before SummerSlam, the former WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Champion could be a surprise selection, leading to a rematch with Brock Lesnar at the "Biggest Event of the Summer," even if it's just a one-off. Goldberg said he thinks about redeeming himself against "The Beast" every day after their 2004 encounter.

2) AJ Lee

Yes, her marriage to CM Punk and the lawsuit between the UFC fighter and WWE Dr. Chris Amann is a huge obstacle, but Lee is missing out on the Women's Revolution. Though she's probably busy getting set to promote her book, there are a plethora of fresh faces for Lee to feud with in the revamped division, including the likes of Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte.

3) Kurt Angle

The Olympic gold medalist has been adamant about closing out his career in the WWE and even hinted at returning during the brand split. Angle hasn't appeared in a WWE ring since 2006 and the company has been notably weary about bringing him back and even went so far as to deny his impending return recently, according to F4WOnline.com (via WrestlingInc). Still, having Angle come home one last time would be a nice touch during the Draft.

4) Rob Van Dam

The "Whole F'N Show" can always mix it up with just about anyone in the ring and it's been a long time since he's returned to the squared circle. RVD hasn't been a part of the organization since 2014 and has plenty of new Superstars to mix it up with upon his return -- the likes of Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and others. Perhaps RVD has one final run left in him.

5) The Rock

Sure, it's a long shot, but much like Goldberg, the WWE could try and do a one-off run for The Rock by having him show up at the draft and announce he'll wrestle for a certain brand at SummerSlam. "The People's Champion" could end up on Shane's brand and Shane-O Mac could try and out-do his sister by booking The Rock vs. her husband Triple H at the "Biggest Event of the Summer."
