Ben Affleck is very angry about Tom Brady's Deflategate suspension.

The actor went on a profanity-laced, slurred tirade about the quarterback, who went through a back-and-forth legal battle with the league before being handed a four-game suspension to open the 2016-17 season.

Affleck called the suspension and investigation a "f--king ridiculous smear campaign" and dropped several more f-bombs along the way, while getting red in the face and slurring his words over what he called a "conspiracy."

"Deflategate is the ultimate bulls-t, f--king outrage of sports, ever," Affleck told Bill Simmons on the series premiere of his 'Any Given Wednesday' show on HBO. "It's so f--king stupid that I can't believe it. They gave him a suspension for a quarter of the regular season."

The actor also compared the suspension to the MLB, where players will get banned for a quarter of the season for testing positive for steroids and HGH, and also talked about the cell phone scandal.

"If the NFL really knew how to test for steroids and HGH, there'd be no f--king NFL," Affleck said. "So instead, what they did was suspend Tom Brady for four [games] for not giving them his f--king cell phone and for having a friend that called himself 'The Deflator.' If I got in trouble for all the things my friends called themselves, I would be finished. You want to give a guy -- because he doesn't give you a cell phone -- a punishment? I would never give an organization as leak-prone as the NFL my f---king cell phone so you could just look through my emails and listen to my voicemails."

The ranting segment went on for five minutes and given his hostel tone and the slurring of his speech, many people on social media began to wonder if Affleck was drunk or on something.

While many people believed he may have been impaired, reps for the actor told TMZ Sports that he was completely sober and just passionate about Tom Brady. They also added there was a heated debate between Affleck and Simmons before the cameras started rolling.

Regardless of the outrage, Brady is set to miss the Patriots' first four games when the season begins.
