Roman Reigns' 30-day suspension could have some ramifications on the Battleground main event.

The WWE suspended Reigns on Tuesday for his first wellness violation and the "Big Dog" took to Twitter to own his mistake. Reigns' suspension will be over by Battleground on July 24 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., where he is expected to battle WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat Match.

Judging by the "SmackDown" results, the WWE may be sticking with the current plans, but given the fact that Reigns will miss the entire buildup, perhaps the WWE should think about replacing him.

Here are three potenial Superstars who could fill-in in the main event.

1) Bray Wyatt

The "Eater of Worlds" returned to action on "Monday Night RAW" this week, but it seems like he and The Wyatt Family will be engaged in a feud with The New Day. Still, the WWE could use Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman against the tag team and have the "New Face of Fear" enter the Triple Threat. Wyatt has plenty of history with Ambrose and Reigns through the wars his stable had with The Shield and had a memorable rivalry with Ambrose as a singles star.

2) Brock Lesnar

"The Beast" could very well be a long shot due to his UFC fight on July 9 being close to this event, but the WWE could really make Battleground a draw by adding him to the main event. Lesnar has a history with both of these Superstars, having faced Rollins in the Battleground main event last year and taking on the "Lunatic Fringe" at WrestleMania 32 this past April. The WWE could also build toward Lesnar's SummerSlam program at this event.

3) Randy Orton

"The Viper" is slated to return in the coming weeks and given his status as a veteran of the company, he could conceivably earn his way into this match. Orton feuded with both men when he was a member of Evolution and The Shield was around and has had many battles with Rollins, including their clash at WrestleMania 31.
