In one night, Dean Ambrose went from Mr. Money in the Bank to WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
The "Lunatic Fringe" defeated Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn and Alberto Del Rio in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match to earn a contract for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship shot.
It wasn't the last the WWE Universe saw of him Sunday night at Money in the Bank in Las Vegas.
Ambrose cashed in on his former Shield stablemate Seth Rollins after "The Architect" defeated Roman Reigns to win the richest prize in the game.
The unstable babyface landed a Dirty Deeds on his former Hounds of Justice brethren, pinning him to the mat to earn the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career.
It was great storytelling by the WWE as each member of The Shield held the gold for at least one portion of the night and Ambrose used the same cash-in methods to dethrone Rollins as the former Shield leader did to spoil Reigns' moment back at WrestleMania 31.
Ambrose's real-life girlfriend, WWE hostess and personality Renee Young, took to Twitter to react to her man winning the biggest title in sports entertainment:

Young and Ambrose have been dating for over a year and their personal lives will be on full display when they appear on "Total Divas" in Season 6. The WWE pre-show host recently spoke about how her boyfriend reacted to the cameras constantly being around.
"He's handling it pretty much the exact way that you'd imagine Dean Ambrose would handle it," Young said in a video filmed by the WWE. "There's been a lot of loud yelling, not wanting anyone in his face too much, so we will see how that unfolds overtime. But it should be interesting to say the least."
With Ambrose now serving as the No. 1 guy in the promotion, he should get used to the exposure.
