Johnny Manziel has severed his last tie to Cleveland.

The former Browns quarterback was released by the Browns back in March and has had trouble finding a new landing spot -- mostly due to his inability to get out of his own way and give up the party life.

The man once known as Johnny Football sold his four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Cleveland, according to TMZ Sports. The site reports Manziel dropped $438 thousand on the home, which is in a private golf course community, back in May 2015.

The former first-round draft pick then put the house on the market for $489 thousand in hopes of gaining a $51 thousand profit on it after being cut. Manziel's former home now has a "sold" logo in front of it, though the deal isn't official per TMZ.

Now that his home is out of the way, Manziel no longer has any ties to Cleveland after the Browns selected him in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft (No. 22 overall) only to cut him less than two years later.

Manziel, 23, has had issues staying away from the party scene and was also recently indicted by a Dallas jury for an alleged physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend, model Colleen Crowley.

He was also recently sued for allegedly causing $32,000 worth of damage to a home he and his party pals rented for a two-day alcohol and drug-fueled binge in Los Angeles.

It's safe to say whoever moves into Manziel's old place in Cleveland should probably prepare to go on a cleaning spree.

The wayward quarterback hasn't been able to clean himself up amid bouts with alcohol and rumors of rampant drug use, so there haven't been any teams willing to take a flyer on him this offseason.

Even Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones, a noted Manziel supporter, won't go near him due to the high-risk he presents. There were reports Manziel showed up to practice for the Browns drunk at least once.

And now, the short-lived Johnny Football era is just a distant memory in Cleveland.
