The NBA won't do anything to hinder Game 7 -- and that includes suspending the current face of the league.

An upset two-time and reigning MVP Stephen Curry chucked his mouthpiece into the stands during the Warriors' Game 6 loss to the Cavaliers, hitting a fan. He was promptly ejected.

The league has responded swiftly, opting to fine the first unanimous MVP in league history $25,000 for the incident. Cleveland won its second straight elimination game, 115-101, on Thursday, forcing a do-or-die Game 7 at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., on Sunday.

With the stakes as high as possible and the LeBron James, Curry matchup reaching its climax, the NBA certainly wasn't about to suspend the Warriors' point guard.

"Curry has been fined $25,000 for throwing his mouthpiece into the spectator stands," the league said in a statement via TMZ Sports. "The incident, which resulted in a technical foul and subsequent ejection for Curry, occurred with 4:22 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Warriors' 115-101 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers during Game 6 of The Finals on June 16 at Quicken Loans Arena."

Golden State took issue with the officiating on Thursday and head coach Steve Kerr was also fined $25,000 for his public bashing of the officials. Curry put up a team-high 30 points, but only had six foul calls go his way, something that drew the ire of his coach and his wife, Ayesha.

James put up a game-high 41 points for the second straight contest, preserving the Cavaliers' season as they attempt to dig themselves out of a 3-1 series hole and bring Cleveland its first NBA championship.

Curry's wife was very active on Twitter after Game 6, saying the game was "rigged" and speaking out against security at the Quicken Loans Arena, which tried to have her father arrested for resembling a con artist who sneaks into events, according to ESPN.

"Police racial profiled my father and told him to remove credentials and tried to arrest him," Curry's wife tweeted.

With so much drama, the world can't wait for Game 7 to determine this year's NBA champion.
