Johnny Manziel is cleaning his act up ... stop us if you've heard this one before.

The former Browns quarterback has partied his way out of a job in the NFL, has had two agents drop him and has lost the faith of every general manager in the league, which explains why he's still unemployed.

According to one of his party pals, OVO Ryan, Manziel is ditching the party scene and training for an NFL comeback.

"He's doing a comeback on his own," Ryan told TMZ Sports. "He's one of the best guys I've ever met, to be honest. He has a good heart, good kid good family. Everyone does their own thing to be honest, it just sucks that he's very vulnerable. Everyone just attacks him for his vulnerability. He's an easy target, but he's working out all the time. He's getting his life together."

While Ryan deserves some points for loyalty, there's no denying that Manziel is his own worst enemy. Reportedly showing up to a Browns practice drunk last season is no one's fault but the former wayward quarterback's.

It also hasn't been a good look for the former Heisman Trophy winner to party across the country after publicly vowing that he was focusing on returning to the NFL for 2016 and getting his life in order.

"I'm hoping to take care of the issues in front of me right now so I can focus on what I have to do if I want to play in 2016," Manziel said in a statement provided to USA Today Sports back in April. "I also continue to be thankful to those who really know me and support me."

Despite all of his well-known problems, he was very publicly spotted "wasted and chain smoking" at Coachella as he continued to struggle to stay away from the party scene

Manziel was also recently indicted by a Dallas jury for an alleged physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend, model Colleen Crowley. The blonde beauty revealed Manziel hit her so hard that she temporarily lost hearing in her left ear.

He was also recently sued for allegedly causing $32,000 worth of damage to a home he and his party pals rented for a two-day alcohol and drug-fueled party in Los Angeles.

So despite Ryan's loyal words about his friend, a life turnaround for Manziel will have to be seen to be believed.
