Former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart is again dismissing claims made by his reality TV ex-wife that he might be gay.

"Fake people have an image to maintain. Real people just don't care," Stewart tweeted on Monday after Porsha Stewart hinted during Sunday's premiere episode of the Bravo Network's Real Housewives of Atlanta series he was only seeking to end their union because of his true sexaulity.

"There were definitely times in the marriage that Kordell didn't necessarily want me, physically, and that made me wonder, what does he want?" Porsha Stewart said at one point during the show.

Kordell Stewart later tweeted in response "always keep it 100 with yourself."

Porsha Stewart, who was prominently featured throughout Sunday's premiere episode, also stressed this isn't the first time her ex has been accused of being in the closet. She claimed long before they wed she heard friends and relatives whispering about his sexaulity.

"He explained it away," she said abou the persistent rumors.

Stewart infamously asked his wife for a divorce via Twitter before the end of last season's series.

Still, Porsha Stewart described the one-time couple's breakup as "heartbreaking," adding during the show seeing Kordell at the deposition was like an out-of-body experience."
