The NBA season could end when the Warriors and their championship aspirations take the court at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., or the Cavaliers can avoid elimination when these two clubs clash in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Golden State is looking to send their same opponent home for the second straight year in order to win the NBA Finals for a second time, while Cleveland will hope to pull to within 3-2 after dropping Game 4 at home.

The Warriors have taken both prior games played in California in this series in blowout fashion, notching a 104-89 victory in Game 1 and a 110-77 triumph in Game 2. When the series shifted to Cleveland, the Cavaliers won, 120-90, in Game 3 before falling, 108-97 in Game 4 on Friday.

Reigning two-time and first-ever unanimous MVP Stephen Curry scored a game-high 38 points in the Game 4 win, while Klay Thompson notched 25, Harrison Barnes put up 14 and Andre Iguodala scored 10. Draymond Green had a team-high 12 rebounds and three blocks, but he's suspended for Game 5 for hitting LeBron James in the groin in Game 4.

Green revealed he attends to watch Game 5 from the O.Co Coliseum in Oakland on Monday. The Athletics are set to open up a four-game set with the Rangers.

Curry had a bounce-back game after hearing a lot of noise for his performance in Game 4.

"He's Stephen Curry," coach Steve Kerr said via NBA.com. "He's the MVP for a reason. He doesn't have the size and strength to dominate a game physically, so he has to dominate with his skill and that's not an easy thing to do because your shot sometimes isn't going to go in. Tonight they went in."

James had 25 points in the loss for Cleveland and had a game-high 13 rebounds and nine steals while adding three blocks. Kyrie Irving had a team-best 34 points in the loss, while Kevin Love (11), Tristan Thompson (10) and J.R. Smith (10) each reached double digits in points.

For the Cavaliers, the goal is very simple: Win Game 5, stay alive and get the series back to Cleveland.

"Let's get one," James said per NBA.com. "We've already got to take a flight home anyways, so we might as well come home with a win and play on our home floor again."
